bees
Franken tells

What’s the buzz about?

Did you know that we at Franken’s had a company sheep which used to graze the garden? We bade farewell to Jonas a while back, and from now on, its place will be taken by some fifty thousand specimens of the Apis mellifera race, or as we say: honey bees. The lawn was ploughed. Enter our flower meadow as an inexhaustible source of nectar.

During spring the bees can savour the lime tree blossoms around our garden. Around autumn the bees go in winter mode: they make themselves comfortable inside and enjoy the sugared water we give them. As soon as spring is here again, they will leave their hives and do what they do best: pollinate everything that grows and flourishes. All this in their tireless contribution to plant diversity.
